Special media day! Pick one of two media preservation companies to tour: George Blood LLP in Fort Washington, PA (closer to Philly), or Media Preserve (Preserve Technologies) outside Pittsburgh! See behind the scenes of these top-notch facilities with lunch will be provided. Additionally, if you attend George Blood they are being super gracious and allowing each person attending to bring 2 items from their institution! These items could range from checking if a tape is blank to asking if a film reel is too shrunken and curled to be transferred. More details will be coming closer to date with an official RSVP form.
