Mentoring ProgramThe Mentoring Subcommittee of the Membership Committee. Mission and Goals
The MARAC Mentoring Program features team-based mentoring, including one-to-two mentors assigned to small cohorts of mentees as well as small peer-to-peer cohorts. These cohorts can be aligned by a subject area, technical area, education or professional status, or simply on general archives professional development. Groups of mentees can self-identify as a cohort. The assigned mentor will have experience and interests relevant to the focus of the group. The mentoring cycle begins in July, with mentors and cohorts working together over the course of a year. For more information, please see the Mentoring Program Guidelines. APPLY NOWThis year’s cohorts will meet from August 2025-May 2026. Applications will be accepted through June 15 and reviewed in June/July 2025. Cohort members will be notified in July or August 2025.
