Serving in a MARAC office or position can provide opportunities to learn how MARAC operates, network with others in the archival profession, and develop new skills. From new professionals to more experienced ones, MARAC offers us—the members—the chance to lead and participate in a variety of ways. The nomination form is open until December 1. Consider nominating yourself (or a colleague) for these positions! The Scholarship Committee is currently accepting applications for its 2025-2026 Graduate School Archival Education Scholarship. Graduate students living or attending school in the MARAC region can apply for a one-time $1000 award to be awarded for the spring 2026 semester, which will be paid directly to the educational institution. The award also includes a $30 student-level MARAC membership for a total award value of $1,030. Visit Graduate School Scholarship for details and application procedures. The Fall 2025 (Vol. 54, No. 4) issue of the Mid-Atlantic Archivist is now available!
