Spring 2023 Program Header

Connect with archivists from all over to explore the theme “Keeping Archives Relevant in the Digital Age.” Sessions will discuss promoting the value of the archives to its institution, enhancing accessibility and visibility of the archives, and related topics. All session times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). Sessions will be recorded and available for later viewing. Conference attendees will have private access to the recordings for a month following the conference.

PROGRAM | REGISTRATION

MARAC is using Zoom Events to host its virtual conference. All participants must have a Zoom account, either organizational or personal, to take part in the conference. The email address associated with your Zoom account will be required at the time of registration.

Zoom Events is a different platform from regular Zoom and built to host multi-day conferences.  Each registrant receives one link to the event that is specific to them and requires them to sign into Zoom Events to join.  From there, participants enter a lobby that contains all the links to sessions and information about speakers, vendors, sponsors, and attendees. This is MARAC's first time using Zoom Events and we look forward to it providing everyone with an improved conference experience!

Zoom Events requires participants to install the commercial version of Zoom desktop client or Zoom mobile app on their device in order to participate in the conference. ZoomGov is not compatible with Zoom Events. If your employer restricts access to the commercial version of Zoom, please plan to use a personal device to join the conference.

If you do not have a Zoom account, visit https://zoom.us/signup#/signup to sign up for a free account BEFORE registering for the conference.

Attendee Registration

Register online at Spring 2023 Meeting RegistrationRates are Member $25.00 and Non-member $50.00. And, once again, our Virtual MARAC will be free for students!

  • Is someone else in your organization responsible for payment? Enter their email address in the registration form as a secondary invoice email. They will automatically receive a copy of the invoice that they can pay online through a link in the message.
  • Several people from my organization are registering and we'd like to make one group payment. How should this work? Each person should register individually and on the payment screen request an invoice to pay later. Your adminstrator should sent the list of participants' names to the MARAC Adminstrator at [email protected]. After everyone in the group has registered, the MARAC Administrator will send a group invoice to your administrator for payment.
  • For your convenience, you may join MARAC or renew your membership when you're registering with one easy payment.

Questions about registration? Visit MARAC's Registration FAQ or contact the MARAC Administrator at [email protected]rac.info.

Vendor Registration

The virtual format of this conference offers vendors opportunities to sponsor sessions and present demonstrations.  For more information, contact the MARAC Vendor Coordinator, Nick Zmijewski, at [email protected].

Code of Conduct

MARAC is committed to providing a harassment-free environment for all participants, so we ask that you please abide by our Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct (adopted in 2017) encourages civil discourse and the free exploration of ideas and concepts–with a fundamental respect for the rights, dignity, and value of all persons.
